The map is live! You can find it HERE!
Make sure you read the map description before you dive in. I will work to fix major bugs if/when they are found.
A huge thanks to the following for making this happen:
The two Doms - my best buds and loyal testers.
OneWingedAngel8 - Thanks for the bodies!
A Big Fat Ass - Thanks for the mannequins!
Everyone from the Facepunch thread - you've kept me going.
All of my Facebook subscribers - For reminding me who I'm mapping for.
My wife and two kids - for understanding that I simply. Must. Map.
Here's a direct copy of the map description. I figured it would be good to have it here.

LOAD A DIFFERENT MAP FIRST!
I seriously recommend headphones for this map. Turn it up, too!
Requires: Half-Life 2, Episode 1 & Episode 2.
Two years in the making! (I’ve been busy…) You’d be doing yourself a favour by reading this.
Before you begin:
Ghosthunt 3 was a pretty ambitious project for me. I vouched to push the Source engine to its limits in terms of events and map size. I have delivered; however, people with lower-end machines may struggle to run this map. The map has been in production for a very long time and whilst myself and my testers are sure we’ve ironed out 99% of the bugs we found, the map is very random and has continued to surprise us throughout its development.
The map contains some new features unseen in my previous releases.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
#1 – NPC Ghosts
There are NPC ghosts in this map. They spawn at random intervals. Much work has been done to stop them from over spawning and I am now comfortable enough to say that they shouldn’t flood the edict counter and crash the map. If you experience a crash with the error ‘No free edicts’ mention it to me and I will work to lower the spawn rate further. You will need AI enabled for these events to work. I do not recommend killing these NPC’s as it will break their I/O’s – I’m not sure what kind of results that would yield. It should also be noted that they are invisible unless you have your flashlight on them. Players with such graphical settings such as disabled shadows will not be able to see these ghosts.
When working correctly, they are very sneaky and make for some excellent genuinely random jump-scares. Once spawned they will seek out a random player and pursue them. They are pretty good at making their way through the map by themselves and you will often find doors left open in their wake.
#2 – Heating System
The map contains a heating system. This can be disabled but you MUST trigger the disable mechanism before you start the map. You ‘start’ the map by pulling the first lever opening the exit door to the safe room.
If you’re a man and want to battle the cold as well as ghosts, there are instructions in the safe room on how to use the furnace. You can take canisters found around the map to the furnace and spark it. Once sparked, the furnace will run for 10 minutes. You can tell when the furnace has stopped as things will get very quiet (and creepy) and gradually you’ll get colder until you die. Nice!
#3 – Escape Event
I’ve written in a little escape event. There are two devices hidden randomly (this seems to be a problem in Garry’s Mod so doesn’t be surprised if you find both items in the same places) – Take these devices to the radio room and insert them into the flashing panels. Then hit the button to summon a helicopter.
